I know there a lot of mum blogs around right now – but for good reason.
I hope to break down some the barriers parents face when dealing with the social-media, picture perfect parenting instead of the real life as a parent.
It’s so easy to get caught up in what others mums are doing, how nice their house is or how well behaved their children are and jealousy blows everything out of proportion, generating serious anxiety issues and guilt complexes.
Let’s take our shades of envy off, ignore the fake crap cluttering our news feed and embrace honest parenting. It’s not all sugar, spice and everything nice. But that means you’re doing it right!
Take it from the woman who once threw a bowl of Cheerios at the window, you’re doing great! (in my defence I was nagged for an hour for these to then go untouched!!)
